Updated October 2026.
What we've done so far
We're aiming for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. Pages are built with proper headings, a link at the top to jump straight to the page content, and clear areas for the header, menu, main content and footer. You can use every menu, the estimate form and the question lists with a keyboard alone, and you'll see where you are as you tab through. Colors were picked for strong contrast, text can be enlarged to twice its size without breaking the layout, and if your device asks for less motion, the site respects that. Every photo has a written description, every form box has a label, and nothing on the site times out while you're typing.
What we know still falls short
Some photos show things that are hard to describe fully in a sentence, like the exact shade of algae on a wall. The chat box comes from an outside provider, and while we've checked that it opens and works with a keyboard, we can't promise every screen reader reads it perfectly. A few tables on the cost pages are wide and need sideways scrolling on small phones.
How to tell us about a problem
If something on this site gets in your way, we'd really like to know. Call (865) 390-6589 or email hello@smokymountainpressurewash.com, tell us the page and what happened, and we'll fix it or find another way to give you the information. You never need the website to book a wash; everything here can be done over the phone.
